Harvest Moon, Kirby, and Other Classic Titles Join Nintendo Switch Online

Aug 20, 2023Aug 20, 2023

Harvest Moon for SNES, Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble, and other Nintendo classics have joined the Nintendo Switch Online library.

A tweet from Nintendo (below) revealed that four total games have already been added to the service, with the aforementioned two joined by Mystery Tower on NES (Bando Namcai's Tower of Babel) and Blaster Master: Enemy Below for Game Boy Color.

Harvest Moon kicked off the franchise and became a pillar for the blended farming and social simulator genre. "Your challenge is to dig in and build your life as a farmer with old-fashioned hard work and dedication," reads the game's description.

Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble brings tilt-controlled fun to Nintendo Switch Online and could open the door for other similar titles such as WarioWare: Twisted. "This twist on classic Kirby gameplay adds new levels of fun," asserts the description.

Mystery Tower was originally launched in Japan as Tower of Babel and challenges players to become puzzle-solving archaeologists. "Use wit and skill to reach the top of the tower!" the description reads. "Clear stages by moving and rearranging mysterious stones to reach the exit and proceed to the next floor."

Blaster Master: Enemy Below tasks the player with saving the world as either Jason or his trusty vehicle SOPHIA. "Using the strong weapons and high jumping power of SOPHIA, Jason must head to subterranean regions and eliminate everything in his path," reads its synopsis.

These new titles come just weeks after Nintendo added a trio of Mario games to Nintendo Switch Online in Super Mario Advance, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.
